Description
There's a quiet confidence to fresh cedar, and this run of fence wears it beautifully. Set against a backdrop of towering hardwoods and the soft gold of late-day light, the panels glow in warm honey and amber tones that no stain could fake—the unmistakable signature of newly milled cedar. The craftsmanship lives in the details: a clean horizontal cap rail crowning each section, vertical boards framed with cabinetry-like precision, and substantial posts rising at measured intervals, each topped with a gently tapered finial that lends the composition a note of understated formality. Where the fence meets the earth, a bed of mulch, a weathered stone urn, and a potted hydrangea soften the line between built and growing—privacy without austerity, and a handsome enclosure that will only deepen in grace as the cedar silvers, season by season, into a patina all its own.
